Leslie Pedersen Lundt, M.D. received her undergraduate degree from Johns Hopkins University and her medical degree from Rush Medical College. She trained in psychiatry at the California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco where she was Chief Resident and had additional training in addiction medicine at the Haight Ashbury Clinic. Dr. Lundt is board certified in psychiatry, addiction medicine and addiction psychiatry.
Dr. Lundt has practiced psychiatry and addiction medicine for the past 19 years. She has a private clinical practice in Boise, Idaho where she treats children, adolescents and adults. In addition, she has conducted numerous clinical research trials as a primary investigator. Dr. Lundt serves as a consultant to the media, pharmaceutical companies and to the Idaho State Board of Medicine. She is an affiliate faculty member of Idaho State University.
Education is a vital part of Dr. Lundt’s professional and personal life. She directs Foothills Foundation, a non-profit educational group dedicated to teaching the public and other medical professionals about mental health topics. In addition, she co-founded a school for gifted children where she serves as admissions and curriculum director. Dr. Lundt lectures extensively and is well-known for her engaging and informative presentations. Special interests of Dr. Lundt include women’s mental and reproductive health, psychopharmacology and addiction psychiatry.
